Kamp KACE (Kids Against Cancer Everywhere) was founded in 1986. It is located in central Minnesota and can accommodate over 100 campers.
Doctors and nurses from make up a large part of the staff. They are on site and on duty at all times to distribute medications and provide any necessary treatment. Their dedication makes it possible for school-aged children in all stages of cancer treatment to attend Kamp.
Excitement, fun, and adventure are planned for campers. They have the opportunity to take part in recreational activities such as swimming, canoeing, crafts, games, pottery, candlemaking, drawing, beading, camping and more. A fishing excursion is also planned. Music, skits, parties and the traditional evening campfires add to the fun.
Each cabin accommodates campers and at least two adult counselors. Handicap accessible cabins are available.
