Kamp KACE (Kids Against Cancer Everywhere) annual Young Adult Winter Survivor Retreat is a weekend of fun, networking, meeting friends, and celebrating survivorship with other high school and college-age cancer survivors. You will enjoy winter activities like snowshoeing (snowshoes provided), ice fishing Saturday afternoon (bait/rods provided), hot tubbing (bring your suit and towel), cookies and hot chocolate, and crafts.
The Young Adult Winter Survivor Retreat is hosted at YMCA Camp Cormorant in Lake Park, MN – home of Kamp KACE!
Kampers, please arrive at Camp Cormorant between 4:00-5:00pm on Friday. Activities will end on Sunday, February 25th at 11:30am. All food and activities are included. Several counselors from summer Kamp will be joining us as chaperones.
Please bring a sleeping bag and pillow (or bedding if you prefer), warm clothes, outdoor gear, swimsuit, toiletries, towels, and a fabulous attitude.
Kamp KACE requires all Kampers, staff and volunteers to be vaccinated for routine childhood diseases. Vaccines for flu and covid are strongly recommended. In addition, all Kampers and staff will be screened prior to Kamp and on arrival. All who plan to attend our winter retreat are asked to stay home if they have symptoms of any illness (cough, congestion, nasal drainage, diarrhea, fever). Anyone developing symptoms at Kamp will be sent home.
